Russell Hobbs Irons on Watchdog


On Thursday 4th December 2014 BBC Watchdog aired a feature on faulty Russell Hobbs Steamglide irons. An electrical wiring fault has caused some of the irons to catch fire can burn people while they were ironing, if you have been affected by one of these faulty irons we want to help you pursue your compensation.

What should you do if you have a Russell Hobbs iron? First of all check to see if your’s is listed on the recall list.

Russell Hobbs have issued a product recall on the following models:

15081, 18651, 18720, 18741, 18742, 18743, 19220, 19221, 19222, 19400, 19840, 20260, 20280, 20550-10, 20560-10
If you have one of the models listed above, you also need to check the batch code, which is shown in the diagram below.


If the batch code starts with 045 through to 365 and ends with 12 or starts with 001 through to 195 and ends with 13, then you have an affected Iron.
