Jigsaw Law staff to run for Claire House Children’s Hospice
Eight staff from Jigsaw Law, the Ellesmere Port personal injury Solicitors, have signed-up for the Chester half-marathon on 18th May. They are now seeking sponsors to raise funds for Claire House Children’s Hospice, and have set a target of £1,200.
Claire House Children's Hospice is situated in Bebington on the Wirral peninsula and their aim is to enhance the quality of life for children and young people with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition, offering a high quality service, with both personal and professional support.
“We are thrilled that the guys at Jigsaw Law are supporting Claire House by joining our team in the Chester Half Marathon. They currently hold the title for the biggest corporate team, with eight brave employees taking on the challenge,” said Kirsty Simpson, Events and Sponsorship Manager at Claire House.
“We’re looking forward to giving them loads of support with their fundraising as they attempt to raise £1,200 to support the work at their local children’s hospice, and we hope that everyone else gets behind their fundraising too.”
Around 5,000 runners will take part in the event, racing around the historic city in one of the UK's most popular half marathon events, starting at Chester Racecourse then taking in the city's landmarks such as the City Walls, the Town Hall and the Cathedral.
